We also had a chance to stop at a bird watch site. This is a fairly tall and rustic wood tower.
Marco wanted to be all over which made his parents very nervous. We got to see some pink flamingos
and other birds. These beautiful wetlands are disapearing due to overdevelopment. Too many
beach houses. The resort provided nice rooms, big pool, pool table, kids club, night entertainment and all you can eat, all you can drink environment. The beach has nice sand but the ocean was not at its prime. The best months to be at the beach are the hot months: March thru mid-September. We had a good time.
